Nor-East’r festival canceled for 2021

MIO – The organizers of Michigan’s Nor-East’r Music & Art Festival announce that this year’s (2021) event has been canceled for a second time due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“With great regret, we must announce that this year’s Nor-East’r Music & Art Festival, scheduled for June 11-13th, 2021, will not take place. It absolutely breaks our hearts to do this for a second year, but rest-assured, we will be back in full force in 2022.

With so much uncertainty of gathering in June and the fact that much of our efforts to prepare for the festival are difficult (and some impossible) due to the current COVID-19 situation, we simply have no hope to be prepared for the festival.

Additionally, the local economy has been hit so hard that asking our neighbors for financial support just doesn’t seem appropriate for this year.

More than anything, we want to keep our community, our volunteers, and our awesome guests safe and able to enjoy the Noreast’r Festival in all its glory.

We appreciate your faith and trust that the 2022 festival will be awesome. Tickets for the 2020 festival will be honored in 2022. The new festival dates will be June 10, 11 and 12, 2022.”

Thanks so much for your continued support.

Please always feel comfortable calling if we can be of any help, if you have questions, or simply want to discuss.

Sincerely

Ausable Valley Nor-east’r Association of Folk (AVNAF) board
