ROSCOMMON — Gahagan Nature Preserve invites the community to mix art, nature and imagination during its annual Fairy House program.
The event, scheduled for Tuesday, May 5, will be at at the preserve, located at 585 Southline Road in Roscommon. This public event is open to all ages and welcomes anyone on or off Facebook.
Participants will create and decorate fall-themed fairy houses to place along the preserve trails, adding a fun and creative touch to the outdoor setting.
Cost for adults is $10 with kids under 12 are $5.
Gahagan Nature Preserve is a nonprofit outdoor education site in Roscommon that protects wildlife habitat, offers community programs and gives visitors a place to enjoy trails, nature and hands-on learning. The preserve features 115 acres and 2.5 miles of managed trails, including a wheelchair-accessible asphalt path.
