Charles Henry Moseley of Roscommon

Charles Henry Moseley, 87, of Roscommon, passed away Nov. 9, 2016 at home.

Charles was born June 5, 1929 in Hamtramck to William M. and Laura M. (Leggett) Moseley. He married Donna Marie (Forton) Aug. 30, 1952 in Romeo. She preceded him in death on March 4, 2011.

Charles resided in Roscommon since 1989 coming from Mt. Clemens.

He was a supervisor at Chrysler for over 30 years, retiring in 1989.

Charles was a Life-Member of Charles M. Engel VFW Post 4159. He served in the US Army during WW II.

Surviving are eight children, Pam (Larry) Mowry of Olathe, KS, Carol (Ken) Guindon of Port Huron, David (Mary) Moseley of Emmett, Barb (Joe) Calus of Davidson, Sue Spencer of Roscommon, Charles (Diane) Moseley, Jr. of Port Huron, Fern (Dusty) Boberg of AL and Debra Moseley of MT; daughter-in-law, Anna Moseley of St. Helen; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, William (Mickey) Moseley of NC; and friend and caregiver Bonnie Mathias of Upland, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna; son, John; granddaughter, Elizabeth McCauley; sister, Dorothy Knight; and brother, Robert Moseley.

Funeral services were held Nov. 14, 2016 at Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon officiated by Pastor David S. Stevens. Burial was at Pioneer Cemetery, Roscommon.

Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.

Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon served the family.
