Donald Thomas McCulloch of Roscommon

Donald Thomas McCulloch, 89, of Roscommon passed away Oct. 8, 2016 at his home.

Mr. McCulloch was born in Grand Rapids on June 17, 1927 to Stanley Booth and Hazel Corinne (Burwitz) McCulloch. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He married Shirley A. Hoover on Nov. 22, 1950 in Kenmore, New York.

Mr. McCulloch resided in Roscommon 1989, coming from Howell. He owned and operated McCulloch Sales, selling frames and picture prints.

He was a member of Kenmore Lodge #1132 F&M and Buffalo Consistory, AASR, and loved fly-fishing, hunting, canoeing, golf and sitting on the porch just watching the river go by.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley; five children, Robin Horning of Oberlin, OH, Donald McCulloch, Jr. of Clio, Kevin (Paula) McCulloch of Grandville, Heather (Peter) Moen of Roscommon and Stanley (Andrea) McCulloch of Howell; 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Stanley McCulloch; and grandson, Zachary McCulloch.

No services are planned.
