ROSCOMMON – At age 98, Louise Carden was the oldest visitor at the Roscommon Historical Society’ 89+ birthday party Sept. 20. The party is held each year with singing, recitals, reminiscing and birthday cake and ice cream.
Joining Carden were Larry Eastley, Syd Dyer, Nadyne Hunt, June Mellgren, Cora Oosterhof, Marge Sanborn, Wanda Chambers, Jeane Carlson, Roxie Fernelius, Eleanor Tucker, Harold Scott, Nels Johnson, and Pete Visotsky. JoAnn Visotsky, Pete’ wife, led the group in singing songs, including ‘Happy Birthday.’
