Frank Joseph Levay of Roscommon

Frank Joseph Levay, 74, of Roscommon passed away Aug. 2, 2016 at Horizon Senior Living, St. Helen.

He was born May 12, 1942 in Highland Park to Frank Thomas and Teresa Elisabeth (Tasch) Levay. He resided in Roscommon since 1974, coming from Royal Oak.

Mr. Levay was a journeyman electrician for more than 30 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Prince of Peace Council 6593 and Immaculate Conception Assembly 2150, both in Roscommon. He enjoyed boating, playing cards at the senior center and working K of C bingo.

Surviving are two children, Annette (Jack) Reeves of Roscommon and Michael Levay of Traverse City; and their mother, Joyce Levay of Roscommon. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Shawna (Travis) Jobson and Jacob Reeves, both of Roscommon; sister, Terri (Mike) Behaeghe of Caseville; and brother, Dan (Linda) Levay of Hawaii.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Lucy Ann.

The funeral service was at Walsh Funeral Home with Fr. Bernard Tyler officiating.

Memorial requests may be made to the Alzheimer’ Association.

Arrangements were handled by Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon.
