‘Roscommon Gang’ volunteers each year at Nor-East’r

MIO–On the second weekend of June, the Nor-East’r Music & Art Festival takes place at the Oscoda County Fairgrounds in Mio. Each year a contingent from Roscommon and Higgins Lake volunteer at the event.

Known as the “Roscommon Gang,” Fran, Tim, Den, Robin, Jen and Jim helped with this year’s set up.

The Nor-East’r is a family-friendly event that provides three days of eclectic music and workshops for musicians from beginner to advanced level in areas around the grounds.

A juried art fair features artisans and their own original art and craftsmanship where artists also host workshops, inviting attendees to learn how to make and create and become artists too.
