Grayling girls drop East Jordan

GRAYLING – Grayling girls defeated East Jordan at home in a close contest, 29-26. After falling behind early, Grayling girls showed great perseverance and heart to battle back. They relied on strong defense in the second half and shots finally started falling. Stats for the night were:

Alaina Anderson 5 points, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 3 rebounds
Ella Longendyke 6 points, 2 assists, 5 rebounds, and 1 blocked shot
Kenzie Castle 6 points, 1 assist, and 1 steal
Jasmine Youngblood 6 points, 1 steal, and 1 rebound
Lacey Young 2 points, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 rebound, and 1 blocked shot
Audrey Bentz 2 points and 4 rebounds
Sage Jones 2 points and 2 rebounds
Shaylinn Tackett 3 rebounds, and 2 steals
Ally Laine 1 steal and 1 rebound

Audrey Duba and Robin Long provided great defense pressure causing deflections and tie-ups whenever they could.
