David Hunter McLean, Jr.

David Hunter McLean, Jr., 63, of Higgins Lake passed away May 16, 2018 at his home.

David was born Jan. 30, 1955 in Detroit to David Hunter and Dorothy June (Cornell) McLean.

He resided at Higgins Lake for 24 years, coming from Plymouth.

David worked 15 years for United Technologies and retired after 10 years at Lear Corporation in Roscommon as a designer.

He was an artist and enjoyed boating. He was the Harbor Master and President of the Big Creek Lane Association.

Surviving are his daughter, Megan McLean of Kalamazoo; sister, Marjorie (Jim) Findley of Highland; and niece, Natalie (Marc) Keast of Berkley.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held later.

Memorial donations may be made to Higgins Lake Foundation.

Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon served the family.
