Craig M. Catlin

Craig M. Catlin, 54, of Roscommon died May 19, 2018 at The Lighthouse of Roscommon.

Craig was born in Detroit Dec. 12, 1963 to Ferris Jay and Maryann (Trubeck) Catlin.

He resided in Roscommon since 2016 having lived in St. Helen, Howell and Fenton previously.

He was an auto tech in Ann Arbor for MARCO (now Lotus). He was also an HVAC tech with Four Seasons Heating and Cooling in Howell and L.J. Rolls Refrigeration in Fenton.

Craig loved to fly fish and collected antique fly rods. He enjoyed radio controlled planes and was a World War II plane history buff. One of his favorite places to visit was the family cottage in Pt. Albert, Ontario. He was also an accomplished guitarist.

Surviving are his mother, Maryann Catlin of Howell; siblings, Tracey Catlin of Howell, Brian Catlin of Dexter, Janine Cooke of Brighton, and Glenn Catlin and almost sister-in-law, Luann Mattinson of Harrison. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Tessa, Nathan, Ethan and Victoria Catlin, Ashley and Audra Cooke.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Private services will be held.

Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon served the family.
