Maria Amelia Spencer, 86, of Roscommon passed away April 26, 2018 at home.
Maria was born in Detroit Oct. 10, 1931 to Thieophiel and Julianna (Denolf) Neirynck. She married Conrad K. Spencer Dec. 11, 1951 in Detroit.
Maria resided in Walled Lake until moving to Roscommon in 1977.
She was a homemaker.
Maria was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed singing and gardening. She made her home and family her priority.
Surviving are her husband, Conrad; son, Ken Spencer of Roscommon; five grandchildren, Tina (partner, Jeremy Russell), Michael (Alicia), Daniel, Amber (significant other, Max Wisneski) and Scott (Sarah) Spencer; and sister, Madelyn Budnick of Roseville. Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren, Robby, Skyla, Austin, Chloe and Brooklyn Spencer, Hailie and Bradley Mitchell and Isaac Cobb; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Spencer of Highland.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Phillip Michael Spencer; two sisters, Adriana Budnick and Ivon Malloy; and grandson, Sean Spencer.
Funeral services were held May 1, 2018 at Hope Lutheran Church, St. Helen officiated by Rev. Rod Morrison, Jr. Burial will be at Pioneer Cemetery, South Branch Township.
