Linda Mae Camp

Linda Mae Camp, 66, of St. Helen, passed away May 9, 2018 at her sister’ home in Commerce Twp.

Linda was born in Garden City Nov. 26, 1951 to John Howard and Catherine Dorine (Pringle) Strine. She married Larry J. Camp Sept. 27, 1974 in Walled Lake.

Linda resided in St. Helen since 1999 coming from Waterford.

She retired as a bus driver for Walled Lake Schools. She was an instructor for Elite Academy, a cosmetology school in Waterford and was the board trainer for students.

Linda enjoyed helping everyone and cared for her family and friends when needed. She always felt best when doing for others. She enjoyed cooking, fishing and hunting with Larry as well as camping.

Surviving are her husband, Larry; son:, Larry (Christina) Camp of Milford; three grandchildren, Kelly, Michael and Keagan; great-grandson, Able; siblings, John (Janice) Strine of White Lake, Michael (Jean) Strine of White Lake, Denise (fianc+¬, Jerry King) Strine of Liberty, KY, Douglas (Lisa) Strine of White Lake and Becky (Darren) Eisenhardt of Commerce Township; two sisters-in-law: Marilyn Camp of Richmond, VA and Theresa Birkeland of Mechanicsville, VA; aunt, Charlotte Carins of St. Helen; uncles, Charles Pringle of Monroe and Chris (Annette) Pringle of Walled Lake; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were held May 11, 2018 at Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon with Pastor Lonnie Wilkerson officiating. Burial is at Fairview Cemetery, Richfield Township.

Memorial donations may be made to We Care Shop, PO Box 513, St. Helen.

Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon is serving the family.
