Jeffery Scott Blevins

Jeffery Scott Blevins, 46, of Harrison passed away on Saturday April 28, 2018 at home.

Jeffery Scott was born on December 28, 1971 in Pontiac to Randy and Linda (Rexford) Blevins. He grew up and attended school in the Pontiac area before moving to the Lake George and Harrison area 30 years ago.

Scott worked in the oil fields for several years. He then was a cook at area restaurants and was presently cooking at the Swiss Inn in Lake George. Scott was a member of Clare Moose Lodge.

He had a passion for spending time out on the water, canoeing and kayaking on the area rivers and lakes.

Surviving Mr. Blevins are his two daughters, Amanda (Scott) Sickles of Harrison and Miranda Janecke of Kankakee, IL; son, Martin Janecke of Eaton Rapids; two grandchildren, Arihanna Drinkwine and Ashlynn Sickles; two step daughters, Karleigh Wible and Charlie Shaffer; mother, Linda Green of Lake George; father, Randy(Cheryl) Blevins of Buckley; brother, Donald (Angela) Blevins of Grand Rapids; two sisters, Miki Li (Matt Isrow) Saltzman of Kalkaska, and Christi Cole of Buckley; girlfriend, Shannon Shaffer of Harrison; several aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.

Funeral Services for Jeffery Scott Blevins will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday May 2, 2018 from Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 2, 2018 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel.

Memorial contributions in memory of Scott are asked to be directed to the family.
