Andrea Jeanette Binder, 77, of Higgins Lake passed away April 18, 2018 at The Lighthouse of Roscommon.
Andrea was born in Detroit on Aug. 6, 1940 to Theodore and Eleanore Edna (Krajewski) Jaworski. She married James H. Binder Dec. 13, 1986 in Troy.
Andrea resided in Higgins Lake since 1996, coming from Southfield and Birmingham.
She was the manager for the Birmingham Schools Food Services, retiring in 1995.
Andrea was a member of the Charles M. Engel VFW Post # 4195 Auxiliary and the American Legion Post # 96 Auxiliary both of Roscommon, and the Houghton Lake Eagles. She enjoyed cruises, crossword puzzles and TV game shows.
Surviving are two daughters, Debbie (Dennis) Grayson of Highland and Cindy (Tony) Dandar of Warren; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Greg (Lynn) Jaworski of East Pointe; and her main squeeze, Andy Giannasoli of Higgins Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Binder; and two sons, Ron and Mike Kennedy.
Private family services will be held later.
