James Leo Mobarak Roscommon

James Leo Mobarak, 69, of Roscommon passed away Dec. 30, 2017 at home.

Jim was born in Detroit on May 7, 1948 to Sennuel John and Elizabeth Ann (Brennan) Mobarak.

He married Laurel E. (Rodden) Laginess Aug. 25, 2011 in Roscommon.

Jim resided in Roscommon for 21 years.

Jim was a Certified GM Master Technician for 50 Years. Jim retired from Don Nester Chevrolet having worked there for 31 years.

He was a long time member of the National Rifle Association.

Jim supported the United States Deputy Sheriff’ Association.

Surviving are his wife, Laurel; two children, Craig (Jana) Mobarak of Roanoke, TX and James Mobarak of Roscommon; granddaughter, Jessica; and grandson, Jake.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be at Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon, Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 from 4 – 7 p.m.

Burial will be at Pioneer Cemetery, South Branch Township.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’ choice.

Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon is serving the family.
