Canoe Marathon Kicked Off Season

The AuSable River Canoe Marathon kicked off the 2018 season at Rolling Oak Brewery in Grayling recently.

Attending the AuSable River Canoe Marathon kickoff were the “Women’s Power Pack” which includes (front, l-r) Jill Engelhardt, Stacey Huber, Midge Rutter, Morgan Robinson, (back) Tracy Constance, Amy Gauthier, Mary Becker, Tammy Thompson, Raelyne Collen, Heather Malone, and Joni Welch.

Consumers Energy, a long-time supporter of the marathon, donated more than $37,000 to kick off the event. Pictured (l-r) are Jay Jacobs of Consumers, Heather Tait, chair of the marathon committee, and Justin Griffith of the Oscoda Marathon Committee.
