A.R.K. hosts open house

ROSCOMMON–Association to Rescue Kritters (ARK) hosted its annual open house June 18. It is the one day of the year their facility is open to the public.

Visitors were able to see the baby animals ARK is rehabilitating as well as some of their educational birds on site.

The ARK rehabilitates hundreds of sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife each year. Its goal is to return these animals to their natural habitats as soon as they are able to live independently and provide an educational resource to all people of the State of Michigan to promote a better understanding, treatment, and appreciation of Michigan’s wildlife population.
