HOUGHTON LAKE – Our Lady of the Lake Regional Catholic School (OLLRCS) students recently participated in the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is for boys and girls ages 9-14 and was sponsored by St. Helen’ K. of C. Council #8390.
Winners at OLLRCS are as follows: in the 9 year old age category Braylon Dull; 10 year-olds Sidney Horski and David Wahl; 11 year-olds Lexie Hood and Owen Barnes; 12 year-olds Briley Kurth and Alex Grover; and 13 year-old Lauren Hood.
Those students were invited to District Level Competition held at Fairview Grade School on Feb. 3. At the District level, Owen Barnes won, which moves him up to compete in the Regional Competition on Feb. 24.
