United Way sponsors Mobile Food Pantry for November

press release

205 boxes of food were distributed to residents throughout Gladwin County.

GLADWIN COUNTY – United Way of Clare and Gladwin Counties would like to say thank you to the volunteers who came out to help with the Mobile Food Pantry at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Gladwin on Saturday, Nov. 18.

In addition to the awesome group at CTK, we had a wonderful group of Beaverton National Honor Society students and Mid Michigan Storm Hockey players! Thank you to everyone who came out and braved the rain and snow.

In total, 205 boxes of food were distributed to residents from throughout Gladwin County. United Way of Clare and Gladwin Counties sponsored the Mobile Food Pantry with funds raised from the 2017 Communities United 5K Color Run which was held in June. Thanks to everyone who contributed – your generosity helps United Way make a difference right here at home!
