Roscommon Baptist Church calls new transitional pastor

ROSCOMMON – Roscommon Baptist Church announces that they are calling Donn Broeker of Gaylord, MI as their transitional pastor.

‘We are happy to have Donn help us through this time when our church is looking for a long term pastor’ says Mike Ritchie, a long time church member. ‘We have known Donn and Dianne for many years and he will provide us with consistent Godly leadership as we taking our time finding the right person to lead the church in the next decade.’

Donn Broeker graduated from Grayling High School, where he met his wife, Dianne. Years later, in 1984, God led them to plant a church there. God has taken them on an awesome journey in ministry. This journey has included six years as pastor at Grayling, nearly eight years as pastor at Sugar Creek Baptist in W. Terre Haute, Indiana, 10 years as DOM in Indiana and Michigan combined. They were also international missionaries in South East Asia representing the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention for five years.

These last few years Donn have served as a Church Planter in Southwest Michigan, a discipleship training director in Hong Kong and an Associational Missionary in Northern Michigan.

Donn adds ‘Now I have the joy and honor to serve Roscommon Baptist Church, as their transitional pastor. I can’t wait to see what God has planned for the work at RBC.’

The church is located at 1201 West Sunset Drive, Roscommon. Pastor Donn will have office hours Saturdays and can be called at 989-281-1449 or his cell 989-370-5889.

The church will be holding a “Welcome the new minister” dish to pass dinner immediately after church Sunday, March 26th. The public is welcome to attend.
