ROSCOMMON – From February 1 to May 11, the School Based Health Center, in partnership with Roscommon Area Public Schools, is promoting a community wide physical activity challenge to walk 100 miles in 100 days. Roscommon High School will open its doors every weeknight to the community from 5 – 9 p.m. for high school students, staff, and community members to walk inside.
Use the mileage chart to track your progress, earn incentives along the way, and join us for a special event in May to celebrate your achievement!
Those who reach 100miles will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a Fitbit™!
Registration is free and will take place at Roscommon High School Wednesday and Thursday, February 1 and 2 from 4 – 6 p.m. You may also register online by going to www.rapsk12.net and clicking the registration link.
To create some excitement and share your experience, use the hashtag #buckswalk100 on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!
You can also use the free app “RunKeeper” on your iPhone, Android, or computer to track your progress.
For any questions, please call the Roscommon School Based Health Center at 989-275-6658.
