Choir student makes State Honors Choir

ROSCOMMON – Congratulations to Roscommon High School sophomore Jeffrey Kuchar on his selection to the Michigan School Vocal Music Association TTBB State High School Honors Choir.

Jeff, who is a Tenor 2, was one of 175 male and female high school singers who participated in the Region A Regional SATB Honors Choir at East Grand Rapids High School on Saturday, Dec. 3. Judges at each of four regional sites around the State selected approximately seven or eight second tenors to move on. Jeff was one of those singers selected based on his audition score.

The TTBB State Honors Choir will rehearse and perform along with the SATB and SSAA State Honors Choirs at the Midwestern Music Conference during the weekend of January 19, 20 and 21, 2017 at DeVos Performance Hall in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Congratulations to Jeff on his fine musical achievement. He is a member of the Roscommon
High School Concert Choir, and his director is Mrs. Shirley A. Parsons.
