Grayling youths visit Sleeping Bear

Mrs. Shory’s and Mrs. Holmes’ 2nd graders visited Sleeping Bear National Park recently.

Park Rangers took them on a hike through the Empire Trail. They were able to see many of the natural land forms that they have been studying, including the dunes, Lake Michigan, hills, and islands. The trip ended with a quick run up the first dune of the dune climb and a slip-sliding run back down.
