ROSCOMMON COUNTY–The Houghton Lake Area Tourism Bureau (HLATB) announces its “Vacation Views @ Michigan’s Other Great Lakes” photo contest.
County residents and visitors are asked to submit digital photographs of their vacation or staycation to the HLATB. Photos can include wildlife, scenery, or any activity in Roscommon County. Entries can be submitted by email to email@example.com and should include name, address, phone and email. Up to five entries per month are allowed. A brief description of where and why you took the picture may be included. The contest ends October 15.
There will be a prize awarded each month and one photographer who is chosen for the best “Vacation View” overall will receive the grand prize of a Mark Martin Ice Fishing School certificate valued at $500.
Judging will be done by the HLATB board.
“This is a great format to share permanently what is so wonderful about making Roscommon County a vacation destination,” Dave Clouse, president of the HLATB board said. “So many wonderful pictures are share through social media, but they are not around for very long. We hope people will share their ‘lasting memories’ with us.”
All entries become the property of and may be used by the HLATB on its web site and social media without any further compensation to the photographer. No copyrighted photos will be accepted.
For a complete set of the rules, please contact the HLATB at 800-676-5330 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
